Observer TS

Based on Volicon's award-winning broadcast Observer system, MPEG Transport Stream (TS) logging with the Observer TS® enables networks, broadcasters, Cable and IPTV operators to do more than ever before. With continuous logging of MPEG transport streams, monitoring program QoE, and the ability to seamlessly export and stream MPEG TS or low resolution proxies, the Observer TS allows for efficient operation with WAN and enterprise wide clients. Logging the native MPEG TS greatly simplifies troubleshooting, chronic resolution, and regulatory proof of conformance. This capability is an add-on to the core Observer feature set opening the door for a variety of new use cases.

Ease of use and greater accessibility are complemented by support for ASI, QAM, 8-VSB, DVB-T/T2, and DVB-T MPEG TS interfaces. Available on all Observer TS systems — including Enterprise, Pro, and Scout systems — broad interface compatibility simplifies deployment and configuration for receiving off-air channels.
