Observer Enterprise

Observer Enterprise is delivered on standardized, carrier-class hardware, and offers the highest scalability and enterprise reliability. Utilizing Volicon’s patented Video Monitoring Architecture (VMA), users are able to playback captured content, from half-speed to 10x, instantly. Configurable alarms monitor video quality and provide early detection of audio and video issues across hundreds of HD channels, allows quick resolution to minimize downtime. Enterprise if offered in a host of platforms from 1RU through 8RU.

Observer Enterprise sits in the heart of the broadcast network workflow and allows broadcasters to manage and compare content assets across multiple channels in a unified interface from any internet connection.

Observer Professional

The Observer Professional^® system provides cost-effective video content monitoring, logging, and compliance workflows for broadcast and media monitoring professionals to quickly schedule, record and search key media mentions on an intuitive web interface. Observer Professional serves as a cross-browser and cross-platform solution that offers greater portability, ease of use, and extensibility on the user's preferred operating system.

Observer Professional is built specifically for budget-conscious television stations and organizations that require simplified workflows for compliance logging and media monitoring. The Observer Professional includes the optional Scheduled Recording Module for scheduled, selective recording of specific broadcast channels within designated time periods. The Observer Professional supports one to four channel SD and HD inputs and offers up to 90 days of storage for archived video.

Observer Scout

Observer Scout^® is designed to sit in multiple locations of the operator network in order to proactively perform quality checks at audio/video service handoffs to ensure the highest QoE for subscribers. Scout is the most cost-efficient Observer system offered to customers capable of monitoring both SD and HD channels. Typical use cases include monitoring of station or network ingress feeds, Pay-TV handoffs and edge of network monitoring to simulate subscribers at the last mile. Scout provides 24x7 local logging of all content for up to 3 days, with QoE monitoring and alerting through SNMP traps and email. The Observer Scout system can integrate an optional hardware module which provides a virtual remote control using IR emitter and STB mounting shelf to enable scanning of a large number of channels.
