Eli Warsawski
Founder, Director, President and CEO

Eli brings over 20 years of experience in product development and operations to Volicon. He co-founded several companies, including Univision Technologies and Exatel, Inc., where he served as president and CEO. Univision was sold to Visicom, Inc., now part of L3 Communications. Eli holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in computer science and business management from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. Eli is a member of the MIT Entrepreneur Forum.

Julius Perl
Founder, Director, VP of Client Services

Julius has over 20 years of product design, management and marketing experience. He was a co-founder and VP of engineering at Univision Technologies and co-founder and director of Exatel. He holds several patents for inventions in the field of digital video image processing. He earned a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Old Dominion University (Norfolk, VA), and a master of science in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA.

Russell Wise
VP of Global Sales

Russell has over 18 years of experience with the digital media, television, cable, satellite, and Internet markets. He has provided leadership with both established companies and innovative start-ups. Russell was responsible for directing the sales business at Motorola Broadcast and Satellite Division (formerly General Instrument). He also was responsible for developing and leading the sales effort for Motorola’s entry into the HD television market. He has been responsible for leading the sales efforts of early stage companies such as Convera ( Intel-Excalibur joint venture), and Triveni Digital where he spearheaded the company’s entrance and revenue growth into the broadcast, cable, and satellite communication markets. Russell has an MBA from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA. and further graduate study at Peter Drucker School of Business.

Gary Learner
Chief Technical Officer

Gary is an entrepreneur and a technologist with a proven track record in the high-tech industry. He has over 16 years of experience in the video imaging field, including Director of Software Development at Univision Technologies and co-founder of Exatel. Gary held senior engineering and management positions with PictureTel and Polaroid. Gary holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Northeastern University, Boston, Mass.,and an MBA from Boston University, Boston, Mass.

Jennifer Knutel
Sr. Director of Marketing & Business Development

Jennifer is responsible for the planning, implementing, and directing of all marketing, communications, and business development activities at Volicon. Her experience includes positions with both large high-tech and early-stage product companies, most recently serving as Marketing Manager at Application Security Inc. and earlier led marketing and communications as Director at AirSprite Technologies, and Adaptive Instruments. Jennifer also held a positions in sales management and business development at Lernout & Hauspie (Nuance). Jennifer brings over 20 years of professional marketing and business development experience to this position, graduated with a BS from the University of Maine, and joined Volicon in late 2012.

Ishai Gendelsman
CPA – Chief Financial Officer

Ishai has over 20 years of experience in the accounting and finance industries dealing with corporate finance, operations, planning acquisitions and analysis. Prior to joining Volicon Inc., Ishai served as chief financial officer at FilesX Inc. (Sold to IBM) and WorkplaceIQ, Inc. Ishai earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.

Eyal Schwarzmann
VP Product

Eyal is responsible for Volicon’s Broadcast product strategy and product definition, as well as overseeing our growing ecosystem of business partnerships. Prior to that Eyal served as our VP of Engineering. Eyal joins us from LiveU, where he was a Program Manager for company’s flagship product. Prior to LiveU, Eyal managed the development team as CEO of daughter company at iVirtus, a manufacturer of miniaturized digital recorders. Before that Eyal held several senior engineering and management positions at Broadcom. Eyal holds Bsc. EE and MBA, both from Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).
